Personal Training Services Include:>
Personal training sessions are 60-minute one-on-one training activities.
Personal Training Sessions include workouts based on the results of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and the personal goals of the athlete. Put simply, the FMS is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. Our trainers are constantly re-testing and evaluating in order to properly progress and continually challenge the athlete.
Our training sessions will use the following format:
5 minutes of soft tissue work
From the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), we are able to expose potential areas that may need tissue and mobilization work. Soft tissue work includes use of foams rollers, lacrosse balls and other techniques to relieve muscle tightness and trigger points. We show our athletes the major areas of concern and spend the majority of time working on those areas during those 5 minutes. However, we do allow people to come in beforehand and get extra soft tissue work done.
60 minute group performance training sessions are similar to the one-on-one training sessions, but will consist of multiple athletes with similar goals and abilities. Maximum number of participants is 4 athletes per session.
